What we collect
An email address and password hash when you register; bookmarks you create; correction or upgrade requests you submit. Search activity on public pages is not stored with your identity.
What we don't do
We don't sell personal data, we don't show your bookmarks to other users, and we don't require an account to search public records.
Third-party services
Judge and case data is retrieved from CourtListener (Free Law Project). Outgoing email (verification, password resets, confirmations) is delivered by our transactional email provider. API credentials are stored server-side and never exposed to your browser.
Court records and protected information
Court records can contain sensitive personal information. We respect sealed records, juvenile and family-court protections, and redaction rules; where a source publishes protected information, we won't reproduce it, and correction requests covering protected information are honored promptly.
Your controls
You can delete bookmarks anytime from your account. Email us at the address on the corrections page to close your account or request deletion of submitted personal information.
